Try-It-Tuesday: Lash Blast Mascara

This is my first post for Mrs. Who's Try-It-Tuesday!

I’m your usual girlie girl, I won’t try to deny that. The last time I was discussing something of that sort with my friends, I believe I said something along the lines of “I’m sort of sporty…” and that was met with maniacal laughter. So I won’t try anything of the sort here.
What I will say is that I haven’t worn mascara for almost two months. Why? Well, my old stuff dried out, and I thought I would force myself to buy some at the grocery the next time I went if I went ahead and threw my old stuff away.
Wrong. I kept forgetting, and after a few weeks, my mascara-less eyes sort of looked… normal.
So imagine my shock when I picked up a cheapo brand of mascara at Meijer the other day (I actually had to write it on the list so I would remember!) and it turned out to be AWESOME!
Please run, don’t walk, to your local supermarket and pick this stuff up. It is the Lash Blast Cover Girl Mascara. The orange tube! (no mom, the color of the tube is not why I picked that one)
It has amazing instant results. I don’t have any issues with flaking or running. It just, well, does what mascara is supposed to do! Plus, it is only $8, and AT YOUR SUPERMARKET! You don’t have to order or anything of that sort.

I tried it and loved it! Let me know if you try it.

First Field Trip

We went on our first field trip with Daycare on Friday. We visited the Louisville Zoo! Moose has been studying the zoo for the last two weeks, so he came home with all kinds of new animal sounds and actions (it was hilarious). Plus, one of the teachers must live in a menagerie, because she brought in all kinds of animals for them to see.

He was most excited about:
berds
lizerds

We woke up bright and early on Friday morning, we had breakfast, got ready and headed in to meet everyone else and carpool up!Off we go!
Here is the big Water Ball in the entrance to the zoo. The boys loved it. There was only one little girl who came with us.

Most of my pictures look like this, it is hard to get fabulous pics of the kids, looking at the animals. So I will just show you a few.
The orangutans were the most entertaining, the played for the cameras, coming right up to the windows. The boys were mystified.

After a VERY long and VERY hot day, we headed home. I made good friends with one of the boy's Daddy, he and I were on the same frame of mind-get home before 5PM.

After we got home, we had a small snack, and headed off for a short nap. Both of us...
